Loki's Garden: Our Garden Center

At our garden center (just outside of Des Moines, Iowa), set on five acres of charming wooded hills with a rustic log cabin, you will find an exceptional array of perennials, trees, and shrubs. We have a variety of display gardens with established plants that will inspire you with design ideas.

We're always staffed with a horticulturist who can help answer your gardening questions and give lots of landscaping advice. And for the holidays, come out and see our beautiful Christmas trees --- we have varieties you won't find anywhere else (including Noble Fir, Grand Fir, and Nordmann Fir) --- and get seasonal lighting ideas so you can put on a best-on-the-block display!

Directions to Our Garden Center from Des Moines

From I-80 West: Take Exit 117 (Booneville/Waukee), turn left onto Ute Avenue (R22). Drive south to 360th Street (where the Waveland Cafe is). Take a right, drive for 1.5 miles and Loki's Garden is on the left.

From I-35 West: Take Exit 69 (Grand Avenue West) turn left onto Raccoon River Drive. Drive 7.5 miles, Loki's Garden is on the left.
